Born in Tokyo in 1984. Moved to the United States in 2007, and currently based in Brooklyn. Meguru Yamaguchi focuses on brushstroke techniques, which have been a quintessential element of painting through times, and he expresses them out of canvas limitations, letting brushstrokes exist solely in space. His signature series “OUT OF BOUNDS” is further explored by the artist recently, to work on his first three-dimensional sculpture series to visualize energies of the self, nature and environment, the earth or the sun.
